Business Unit Energy is responsible for designing and developing energy supply units for company group enterprises.

LOCATION Lenzing

1. Business Unit Energy is a Lenzing AG service provider supplying its customers with cost-efficient energy and media of any kind.
2. Business Unit Energy plans and operates the complete network and advises its customers on all issues of energy supply. In cooperation with its customers the Business Unit Energy develops customized solutions for any application and contingency.
3. Business Unit Energy handles most types of waste materials and all sewage sludge for thermal processing.
4. Business Unit Energy is integrated into the cellulose production cycle and is in charge of:
   
   - thick liquor combustion
   - recovery of MgO and SO₂
   - production of MgO, liquid SO₂ and cooking liquor
   - combustion of OPE waste liquor with potash retrieval

LOCATION Heiligenkreuz

EMZ Energy and Media Center in Heiligenkreuz is a subsidiary company (100%) of Lenzing AG. The head of Business Unit Enery is also the executive manager of the EMZ. The EMZ provides the industrial park Heiligenkreuz with energy and media of any kind.
