Organic Power Use it, Compost it and it will grow again
Lenzing fibers are fully biodegradable. Unlike fossil fuel based fibers, Lenzing Viscose® and TENCEL® decompose completely in sewage treatment plants or after soil burial.
Lenzing Viscose® and TENCEL® are converted into pure water and carbon dioxide which are re-absorbed during photosynthesis of green plants and converted into cellulose.
Nonwoven fabrics made from Lenzing Viscose® and TENCEL® have been certified and registered by DIN CERTCO as compostable materials. |
In soil burial, Lenzing Fibers naturally break down within weeks:
| 0 days soil burial |
4 days soil burial |
7 days soil burial |
