Blending Lenzing PTFE filament yarns and ePTFE sandwich yarns - for challenging applications.

While most of our Lenzing PTFE filament yarns are being used on their own, there has been a growing number of clients that blend these "compact" PTFE filament yarns with "expanded" PTFE materials in a number of ways - mostly however using the softer and more conforming ePTFE yarns for braiding and the harder, more pressure-resistant Lenzing PTFE filament yarns as a filler/core.

This results in a dimensionally very stable PTFE packing with a soft and conforming surface for excellent sealability at low gland pressure for extended service life.
