In Detail
The rough homogeniser ensures that the viscose discharged from the xanthation machine contains virtually no particles larger than the gap between the two shredding rollers. Additionally the twin roller design can reduce the discharge time of the xanthation machine to minimise the batch cycle time, thereby raising the production capacity per machine.
A viscose pump situated after the rough homogeniser sucks the xanthate from the wet churn through this rough homogeniser, and pumps it through fine homogenizers to the dissolving tank.
The homogeniser contains two rollers rotating in opposite directions at different speeds for more efficient cutting.
Each roller consists of several discs with cutting teeth. Only the proper design of the shape and material of the cutting discs ensures safe and efficient operation for a long time period.
