In Detail
The shredded alkalicellulose is aged in a belt ageing device. The ageing time can be adjusted by varying the conveyor speed, according to the different requirements.
The ageing of the alkalicellulose is proportional to both time and temperature. This means if you have higher temperature you need less time and if you have more time you need lower temperature.
We offer a belt ageing device instead of the also used drum type. The belt ageing device consists of several belts running in an insulated chamber. This means you do not need any additional heating in the chamber itself because the alkalicellulose enters with the required temperature and remains at virtually the same temperature until the outlet of the chamber is reached.
