- Flexibility in production of various fibre types
In Detail
THE PROCESS Viscose is pumped by the spin pumps through the spinnerettes. After passing the holes of the spinnerette eyes, the viscose is then coagulated in spinbath to build up a continuous filament.
The single filaments are collected to a single tow and pulled out of the spinbath by ceramic godets. The tows are then pulled through a hot acid/water channel by a stretching unit, and the single tows are collected together to form a joint tow. The main stretching of the tow takes place between the godet and stretching unit.
THE MACHINE The spinning machine is equipped with variable single drives for spin pumps, godets and stretching rollers, which ensures high flexibility to optimise spinning parameters for producing the best quality of fibre as well as a wide range of fibre products.
The use of sophisticated materials ensures the highest possible availability with minimum down times.
The uniquely efficient collection of waste gas, of both high and low pollutant concentrations, and the consequent sealing of the spinning machine to the environment provides environ-mental as well as economic benefits and meets modern work place requirements.
Only the aforementioned collection of the gases and the use of latest sealing technologies allows efficient waste gas treatment or even provides the opportunity for recovery of components of the waste gas.
